The Friday, October 11 football game against Crow was selected by student council as this year’s homecoming game.
The leadership class is busy working on plans for homecoming week. On Tuesday, the homecoming court was announced.
Isaiah Sprague and Natalie Harris were voted senior prince and princess. Daniel Brown and Mariah Gallagher were the juniors. Jeremy Poer and Kaidyn Garrotto were the top sophomore vote-getters and Joe Young and Shiloh Geiger were the freshmen.
Homecoming king and queen will be picked among the court at halftime of the Days Creek-Crow football game. Kickoff is 4 p.m.
Theme days are:
Monday, Oct. 7: Twin Day
Tuesday, Oct. 8: Adam Sandler Day
Wednesday, Oct. 9: “On Wednesday We Wear Pink Day”
Thursday, Oct. 10: School Spirit Day
Friday: Oct. 11: Hawaiian Day.
Adam Sandler is a comedian known for his work on Saturday Night Live, the Hotel Transylvania movie series, “Grown Ups,” “Click,” “Pixels,” and “Bedtime Stories.”
The homecoming dance will return for the first time in recent history. The Hawaiian-themed dance will begin following the football game and will end after two hours from the beginning.
In a departure from tradition, the bonfire will be on Wednesday, from 7 to 9 p.m.
