At Days Creek Charter School we want to show the teachers some appreciation for how much they’ve done for us and this school. I know that some teachers at Days Creek don’t stop work when it comes to the end of the school day. They take it home and try to figure out what works best for one individual just so they know how to help us better.
Our teachers show us a great amount of attention and all help us when needed, even if it’s their lunch time they don’t show that they’re angry or upset.
Being a teacher is not for the weak either. Trying to help someone learn is so harder than it looks, and they don’t ever act annoyed they just try and figure a different way to help us. Even though it is teacher appreciation month doesn’t mean we should just be showing them how much we notice on an article, but every day when they try to help us, we should also be putting effort in so they also know we appreciate them.
Mrs. Geiger is a good example of a quality teacher. She said would stay a teacher even if she could go back in time. She also wishes she had more time with students to help them learn. Mrs. Geiger stays late and always thinks about the students in her classroom even in her free time.
Which just proves how dedicated teachers are to their job. I don’t know any other job with so much dedication to kids and not even just kids. It could be helping a whole family just so the kids in the school can feel safe and learn in a healthy environment.
