Days Creek homecoming week will be held Oct. 11-15.

During this period of time there will be a spirit week. The themes for spirit week are Monday- Tie dye, Tuesday- Tacky tourist, Wednesday- Senior citizen, and Thursday- School pride. Classes receive points for participation.

A pep rally will be held on Wednesday in place of DiscoverU.  Activities planned for the rally include a Twister tournament, wrap-a-teacher in toilet paper and the wildly popular Powder Tough volleyball game.

There will be a home football game 4 p.m. Friday against Gold Beach.

Immediately following the game there will be bonfire, back after a two-year hiatus, that ends at 10 p.m. At the bonfire there will be food, drinks, and fun activities.

The theme for the bonfire will be neon.

Days Creek will not be having a homecoming dance this year.

“We wanted to change things up and combine the dance and bonfire,” Student body vice president Kate Clifton said.
