Part of graduation requirements at Days Creek Charter School are to complete either a senior project or conduct a job shadow.

Bailey Stufflebeam hosted a harvest dinner during Thanksgiving weekend at the South Umpqua Community Church in Tiller. The project entailed cooking and presenting a catered meal for the community.

Other projects and job shadows included:

Isaiah Bloom and Cordell Guckert shadowed Dr. Rohm at Tri-City Chiropractic. 

Shayleen Budel shadowed a preschool aide at Tri City Preschool.

Kailee Chandler and Marissa Jandura completed their FFA State Degrees to fulfill her project requirement.

Keith Gaskell shadowed a lineman with Pacific Power.

Hayden Harris shadowed Days Creek graduate Thad Hannigan of Hannigan Electric.

Michael Jenks shadowed his father, Blattner Energy civil superintendent Toby Jenks while they built infrastructure for a wind farm in Wyoming.

Landon Kruzic shadowed two information technicians (Brad Gray and Jeffrey Hastings).

Lizzy Leodoro shadowed echocardiogram tech Hannah Draeger.

Emily Mazie shadowed her brother, a real estate agent at Cal-Am Properties in Medford. 

Bre Milliron shadowed Winston RV Park manager Sarah Milliron.

Gracy Oppelt shadowed caregiver and medical tech Sarah Cook.

Eliana Roberts shadowed at Kaul Chiropractic and massage.

Keira Sawyer shadowed horse trainer Chrissy Hoffman, also a DCCS teacher’s aide. 

Timber Summerfield shadowed upper management at 7 Feathers Casino.

Raime Wheeler shadowed Karyn McNeil, a water tester for the water treatment plant at the Tiller Ranger Station.
