The past few years Days Creek baseball has been pretty hectic having to deal with a lack of players to Covid there has been a mix of things preventing Days Creek from having a team. For the past 9 years we lacked the players and co-opted with Riddle Irish. 

This year the baseball team will have a new head coach Anthony Matchett who will be assisted by Cameron Burns.

 Anthony Matchett is a graduate of South Umpqua, he played baseball in high school and helped out with his nephews’ baseball teams. 

He decided to coach baseball this year because he really enjoyed helping with basketball and football this year. He also really enjoys watching baseball.

He is employed at MSK Hardware, which has been accommodating to his coaching schedule.

Matchett assisted Travis Fuller with football and James Ellis with baseball.
