Shad Stufflebeam was named head coach of the Days Creek softball team this week.

Stufflebeam replaces Katie Staudenmaier. He inherits a team that went 10-4 last season and just missed the state playoffs.

Days Creek pitchers and catchers are already practicing. Official practices start Monday. The Wolves open their season March 17 at Myrtle Point.

Stufflebeam is an experienced youth baseball and softball coach and is a 2000 Days Creek graduate.
