Pixie Week is, simply put, Secret Santa that lasts for 4 days but it’s Valentine’s. The long explanation is that you give gifts to your randomly selected pixie person throughout the week. And while you give them the gifts, you also give them hints about who you are, revealing your true identity by the end of the week. You also receive gifts, but not usually from the same person you are giving your gifts to.
To participate in Pixie Week you need to fill out an index card with information about yourself, such as: your name, locker number, and optionally, you can also include your likes and dislikes. The dislikes would be useful to tell of any allergies. Allergies to certain foods or cloths should definitely be mentioned, as the allergens might be present otherwise.
Sadly, you cannot participate this year if you have not already turned in your index card to the front office. All cards were due January 30, 2025.
You can get funding (money) from teachers who choose to help you if you don’t have cash to spare for Pixie Week. (Please talk to the front office about this, do not ask teachers directly for money.)
You may participate in Pixie Week if you are a staff member or a student of the school and the event this year lasts from February 10 – 13, 2025. You either bring the gift to the student’s locker or the staff member’s office/classroom.
Why participate in Pixie Week? It’s fun! Giving gifts and receiving gifts are both fun experiences. You don’t need to spend very much, or even, any money for pixie week. It is completely optional to participate.
