The Days Creek football team is making a long trip to face South Wasco County in the first round of the OSAA 6-man state playoffs Saturday in Maupin.
Fans can watch the Wolves and Redsides play on the NFHS Network at 1 p.m. The cost of an NFHS subscription is $11.99 per month.
Twelfth-seeded Days Creek (4-4) is returning to the state playoffs for the first time since 2019, when they reached the 8-man state quarterfinals. They’ll face No. 5 seeded South Wasco County (6-3) at the Deschutes River Athletic Complex.
Days Creek is on a three-game losing streak after having won four in a row. They fell to Alsea, 51-16 in a Special District 2 crossover game last weekend.
The winner between the Wolves and SWC advances to face North Lake in the quarterfinals.
