- The Wolves will open the season Saturday at the Alsea Jamboree with a series of scrimmages. The team’s original opener was canceled when Jewell failed to field a team. All of the team’s games will be league games.
- Special District 2 will look very different this fall: Riddle, Glendale and Prospect/Butte Falls all elected to play 8-man football. C.S. Lewis Academy, Crow and McKenzie join the league
