Next year at Days Creek Charter School half of the student council will be filled with new people.
Mariah Gallagher will remain the student body president for the second year in a row as she enters her junior year. She ran unopposed. The vice
president will be an incoming Senior Shayliegh Lynn.
The council will include incoming freshmen Maggie Brown, KC Hoffman, Jazmin Estrada, and Shiloh Geiger.
The four incoming freshmen all will take part in the student council. Geiger will be the secretary, Brown will be the reporter, Estrada will be the treasurer and Hoffman will be the student body representative.
These girls want to contribute great things to the school, some of them want to improve the track and even add a Valentine’s dance for the high school.
Advisor Rachel Matchett will be leading them again.
Others want to improve the school food. Last of all, Days Creek’s student council elections were very reasonable.
Mariah Gallagher wants to create a snack bar it could be used for fundraising ran by the student council.
