EUGENE – On Tuesday Dec. 5 the Days Creek journalism class joined many other schools by participating in Fall Media Day held at the University of Oregon.
¨This is Days Creek’s second year attending Fall Media Fay,̈ Journalism teacher Mr. McCallum said.
Each participant was given four sessions to choose to attend and gain more knowledge. In each session there are around 10 different classes.
Senior Riley Crume attended the “yearbook design trends class,” and said, “I liked the Yearbook design trends, it helped give me more ideas for our yearbook.”
For lunch the class ate at Pegasus Pizza. While waiting for the pizza they intently watched Bob Ross, played foosball and after eating played a game of pool.
¨Pegasus Pizza was nice,¨ Days Creek student Anaya Gideon says. After eating the class rushed to the last session that there was time for before heading back to Days Creek.
All together the class learned new things and had a blast.
