The Days Creek volleyball team had their yearly Dig Pink fundraiser on Sept. 23.
Most years it is held in the month of October because of it being recognized as Breast Cancer and Liver Cancer awareness month.
The bake sale raised $3,500. This year and all proceeds went to Riddle bus driver Sarah Hamrick, who is battling breast cancer.
It was a great turn out with many fans and guests who donated to the fundraiser.
Most donations were made off of a silent auction of baked goods. 2023 Days Creek graduate Bailey Stufflebeam won the 50/50 raffle and chose to donate it all to the volleyball fund for Hamrick.
