- Hunt replaces Travis Fuller, who stepped down over the summer to spend more time with his family. Hunt was the head coach between 2014-2019, when he took the Wolves to the state playoffs four times.

- Friday’s game against Riddle is a non-league affair; the two teams will meet on Oct. 20 in Riddle in a game that counts in the Special District 2 standings. The starting time was moved up to 3 p.m. because of a referee shortage.
