The Days Creek Boys basketball team is playing fall basketball.

They play two games every Sunday at Talent Middle School.

As of now the Wolves are 4-4. Many Sundays the Wolves play larger schools like Hidden Valley and Ashland.

¨I like being able to play basketball in the fall to get ready for the regular season. Many teams in our league are not doing this.¨ said Landon Kruzic when asked what he thinks about fall basketball.

Kruzic is the starting point guard. The starting lineup changes depending on circumstances.

Other players are Keith Gaskell, Keegan Stufflebeam, Michael Jenks, Aiden Denson, Camden Stufflebeam, Daniel Brown, Xane Hopkins and James Buckner.

The coach can not be associated with the school so instead of having James Ellis coach them, his son Blake Ellis is the coach. The younger Ellis is a 2019 graduate of the school and an all-state basketball player as a senior.

The team also has some tough opponents in preseason to prepare them for the regular season.
